Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan relay, Faulty cavity temperature sensor, Control PCB logic fault, Overheat thermostat not resetting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains before opening any covers.
- Allow full cool-down: Some models keep the fan running until the cavity and control area are cool. Wait at least 30–45 minutes to see if it stops.
- Check sensor readings: Test the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature. Replace if out of specification.
- Inspect overheat thermostat: Ensure any resettable thermostat has not tripped. Reset if applicable and investigate cause of overheating.
- PCB relay check: If the fan runs even when the oven is cold and off, the cooling fan relay on the PCB may be welded closed. Replace the main PCB.
