Possible Causes
Burnt-out convection fan motor, seized bearings, broken fan blades jamming motor, faulty fan selector contact
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and let the oven cool.
- Check mode: Ensure you have selected a fan-assisted mode (symbol with fan). In conventional modes, the fan may not run.
- Access fan: Remove the rear interior panel to expose the fan. Try spinning the blades by hand; stiffness indicates bearing failure.
- Test motor: From the rear, disconnect the motor and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Replace motor: Unscrew the fan blade, remove mounting screws for the motor, disconnect wiring, and install a new Clatronic convection fan motor. Refit the blade and panel.
