How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and allow the top area to cool.
- Check grill glow: In grill mode, the top element should glow red. If it does not, test the element.
- Access terminals: Remove the rear panel to reach the grill element connections. Measure resistance; an open reading means the element must be replaced.
- Inspect wiring and selector: Check for loose or burnt wires and test the selector switch contacts for grill mode.
- Replace grill element: Remove mounting screws inside the cavity, pull the element forward, disconnect wires, and install a new Clatronic grill element.
