Oven door will not close fully or appears misaligned.

Safety First: Remove the door carefully; it is heavy and can pinch fingers.

• Remove door: Open the door to the broil stop position (about 10–15 cm open). Engage hinge locks if present, then lift the door up and off the hinges.
• Inspect hinges: Check for bending, broken springs, or excessive play. Replace both hinges as a set if worn or damaged.
• Check hinge receivers: Inspect the slots in the oven frame where the hinges insert. Replace or repair if cracked or deformed.
• Reinstall door: Insert hinges fully into the receivers at the same angle they were removed, then close the hinge locks and test door closure.
