Buttons or knobs on the oven are loose, wobbly, or not engaging functions properly

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

• Inspect knobs: Pull off removable knobs and check for cracks or worn splines. Replace damaged knobs.
• Check selector shaft: Wiggle the shaft of the function or temperature selector. Excessive play may indicate a worn switch or encoder that needs replacement.
• Control panel mounts: Ensure the control panel is securely fastened and not flexing when operated.
• Replace selector/encoder: If functions do not change reliably when turning the knob, replace the selector switch or encoder on the control PCB.
