Possible Causes
Open circular heating element around fan, burnt wiring to circular element, failed fan element relay on control board, open safety thermostat in fan circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains and let it cool.
- Confirm symptom: Test conventional (top/bottom) heating and then fan-assisted mode. If only fan-assisted fails, suspect the circular element.
- Access circular element: Remove the rear cavity panel inside the oven to expose the circular element and fan.
- Inspect and test: Check the element for visible damage. Disconnect its terminals and measure resistance; an open circuit means replacement is required.
- Check wiring and thermostat: Inspect the wiring harness and any inline thermostat for damage or open circuit.
- Control board: If the element and wiring are good but no power is delivered in fan mode, the corresponding relay on the main PCB may be faulty.
