Bake function not working but broil still heats

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the element.

• Visual inspection: Look at the bake element for blisters, cracks, or burn marks.
• Test continuity: Remove at least one wire from the bake element and measure resistance. Replace the element if open.
• Check wiring: Inspect wires from the element to the rear of the oven and to the EOC for burns or loose connections. Repair or replace as needed.
• Control board: If the element and wiring are good but the bake circuit never receives power, replace the EOC.
