How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Inspect broil element: Check for visible damage or breaks.
- Test continuity: Disconnect one lead and measure resistance. Replace the broil element if open.
- Check wiring: Inspect wiring from the broil element to the control area for heat damage.
- Replace EOC: If the element and wiring are good but no power is sent during broil, replace the EOC.
