How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker.
- Dry and clean: If the issue started after cleaning, allow the panel to dry thoroughly and clean with a dry cloth.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon cable into the UI or EOC.
- Inspect for damage: Look for cracks or delamination of the touch membrane. Replace the touchpad or entire control panel assembly if damaged.
- Replace UI board: If the keypad is good but inputs are not recognized, replace the UI board.
