Possible Causes
Open (broken) oven temperature sensor, Unplugged or loose sensor connector, Broken sensor wiring harness, Failed EOC sensor input circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before testing or replacing components.
- Access sensor: Locate the oven temperature sensor inside the cavity. Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the sensor forward to access the connector behind the liner.
- Test resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance with a multimeter. At room temperature, expect ~1050–1100 Ω. If the meter shows OL (open) or extremely high resistance, the sensor is bad and must be replaced.
- Check harness: If the sensor tests good, inspect the harness from the sensor connector to the control board. Look for broken wires, burnt insulation, or loose plugs. Repair or replace as needed.
- Board check: If sensor and wiring are good, the EOC sensor circuit may be open. Replace the EOC using the correct Electrolux part number.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the sensor securely, restore power, clear the code by power-cycling, and run a bake test to confirm normal operation.
