Possible Causes
Failed relay on EOC, Internal EOC logic fault, Power surge damage to control board, Loose or oxidized control board connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the control area.
- Power reset: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore. If F5 reappears immediately, suspect the EOC.
- Inspect control board: Remove the back panel or control panel cover to access the EOC. Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or discoloration around relays.
- Check connectors: Reseat all harness connectors to the EOC, ensuring they are fully seated and free of corrosion.
- Replace EOC if needed: If visual inspection shows damage or the code persists after reseating connectors, replace the EOC with the correct Electrolux part. Transfer any overlay or mounting hardware from the old board.
- Verify operation: After replacement, test bake and broil functions and confirm no error codes appear.
