Display shows E08, oven light and fan may work but no heating

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Only proceed with PCB inspection if you are competent with electronics; otherwise contact a technician.

• Verify supply to control board: Remove the top cover or rear panel to access the control module. With power OFF, check that all screw terminals are tight and that there are no signs of overheating.
• Inspect the PCB: Remove the control board and examine the underside for burned or cracked solder joints around the main heater relay or triac. Look for darkened areas or broken tracks.
• Check relay operation: If you have the skills and tools, you can bench-test the relay coil and contacts. A relay that does not click or has high resistance across contacts when energized should be replaced (usually by replacing the entire control board).
• Replace control module: In most home repairs, the practical solution is to replace the complete Essentials electronic control unit with the correct part number.
• Test after replacement: Refit the board, reconnect all plugs, restore power, and test heating in multiple modes to ensure normal operation and that E08 is cleared.
