Grill function weak or uneven, only part of the grill element glows red

Safety first: Turn off power and let the grill area cool completely.

• Visual check: Run the grill briefly and observe which sections heat, then turn power off and allow to cool. Sections that never glow likely indicate an internal break.
• Inspect terminals: Access the rear of the oven and check the grill element terminals for loose or burned connectors. Clean and tighten or replace as needed.
• Replace grill element: If only part of the element heats or resistance is abnormal, replace the entire grill element with an Essentials-compatible part.
• Test for even heating: After replacement, run the grill and confirm that the entire element heats evenly.
