Possible Causes

Faulty electronic control board power supply section, Blown internal fuse on PCB, Loose connection at mains terminal block, Defective line filter module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker and verify no voltage is present at the oven terminals before opening any covers.

  • Check household supply: Confirm the wall outlet or junction box has correct voltage using a multimeter. Reset any tripped breakers.
  • Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block. Look for burnt terminals or loose screws. Tighten connections and replace any melted block.
  • Internal fuse: Many Fagor ovens have a small glass or ceramic fuse on the control board or near the line filter. With power off, remove and test the fuse for continuity. Replace only with the same rating if blown. Investigate for short circuits before replacing.
  • Control board: If the fuse is good and power is present at the board input but the display remains dead, the low-voltage power supply on the PCB is likely faulty. Replace the electronic control module as a complete unit.
