Oven Cavity Lamp Circuit Failure
Oven light does not work, all heating functions normal

Possible Causes
Blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Burnt lamp wiring, Failed light switch or relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before changing the lamp to avoid electric shock and hot glass burns.
- Replace lamp: Unscrew the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually at the rear or side). Remove the bulb and inspect the filament. Replace with the correct high-temperature oven bulb (e.g., 25W or 40W E14, as specified by Fagor).
- Check lamp holder: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the lamp holder for heat damage or corrosion. Test for voltage at the holder when the light should be on (power on, extreme caution). If no voltage, proceed to wiring and control checks.
- Inspect wiring: With power off, check the wires from the lamp holder to the control board or switch. Repair any burnt or loose connections.
- Control or switch: On electronic models, the light is controlled by a relay or triac on the PCB. If all else is good, the control board may need replacement. On mechanical models, test the light switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
