Possible Causes

Faulty electronic timer module, Stuck or broken clock buttons, Damaged encoder knob, Internal timer relay failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.

  • Attempt reset: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore. Try setting the time again following the user manual sequence (often pressing the clock symbol then +/- keys).
  • Check buttons/knob: Inspect the clock buttons or rotary encoder for physical damage or sticking. Clean around the buttons and ensure they move freely. If they feel loose or do not click, the timer module may need replacement.
  • Timer relay: On some Fagor models, the timer includes a relay that supplies power to the oven. If the display works but the oven does not receive power, test the relay contacts for continuity when the timer is set to manual. Replace the timer module if the relay is faulty.
  • Replace timer: If the clock cannot be set or loses time constantly, replace the complete clock/timer module with the correct Fagor spare.
