Error appears when switching functions, oven stops heating unexpectedly

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel or knobs.

• Inspect selector knob: Ensure the knob is not cracked and is firmly attached to the selector shaft. Replace the knob if it slips.
• Clean selector switch: Remove the control panel to access the function selector. Check for signs of overheating or burnt contacts. Lightly clean contacts with electrical contact cleaner if accessible.
• Test switch positions: Using a multimeter, verify continuity between the appropriate terminals in each function position according to the wiring diagram. Replace the selector switch if readings are inconsistent.
• Electronic models: If your Fagor oven uses electronic relays instead of a mechanical selector, inspect the control board for faulty relays and replace the board if necessary.
