Possible Causes
Dry or worn fan motor bearings, Misaligned fan shaft, Heat-damaged motor lubrication
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before accessing the fan.
- Confirm source: Run the oven briefly in fan mode and listen to locate the noise (rear vs top). Turn power off again before disassembly.
- Inspect fan: Remove the internal rear panel and check for rubbing between the fan blade and shroud. Adjust if necessary.
- Replace motor: If the noise persists and the shaft feels rough when turned by hand, replace the fan motor with a Fagor-compatible unit. Lubrication alone is usually a temporary fix and not recommended inside the hot cavity.
