How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power before accessing the timer.
- Check settings: Ensure the timer is not set to an automatic program that is preventing oven operation. Set to manual or continuous mode.
- Listen for motor: With power on (and extreme caution), listen near the timer for a faint motor sound. If silent and the clock does not move, the timer motor may have failed.
- Replace timer: Mechanical timers are generally not repairable. Remove the control panel, note wiring positions or take a photo, and install a new Fagor-compatible timer.
