Oven display works but oven will not start heating when a function is selected

Safety first: No immediate internal work is required; follow logical checks first.

• Check timer: Ensure the electronic timer is set to manual or continuous mode. Cancel any delayed start or automatic programs.
• Disable child lock: If a lock symbol is shown, follow the manual to deactivate the child lock (usually press and hold a key for several seconds).
• Door status: Confirm the door is fully closed and that any door indicator on the display shows closed. If not, inspect the door switch or lock assembly.
• Relay test: If all settings are correct but no heating occurs, the main heater relay on the control board may have failed. A technician can test for output voltage to the elements and replace the board if necessary.
