Safety first: Allow the oven to cool before inspecting the seal and hinges.

• Inspect gasket compression: Close the door on a strip of paper at various points. If the paper pulls out easily, the seal is not tight. Replace the gasket.
• Check hinges: Replace worn hinges that allow the door to drop or not close fully.
• Usage check: Follow the Fagor manual regarding grill use (door open or closed as specified). Avoid prolonged high-heat operation if the door is not sealing correctly.
