Possible Causes
Cooling fan thermostat stuck closed, Control board logic keeping fan on, High residual heat due to insulation issues
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Fan operation after shutdown is normal for a short period, but continuous running indicates a fault.
- Observe duration: Note how long the fan runs after shutdown. Up to 30–40 minutes can be normal after high-temperature use.
- Test thermostat: Locate the cooling fan thermostat and test continuity when the oven is cold. It should be open. If it remains closed, replace the thermostat.
- Control board: If the thermostat is functioning but the fan never stops, the control board may be stuck commanding the fan on and should be replaced.
