Oven light does not turn on when door is opened, but works when manually switched on (if feature exists)

Safety first: Ensure power is off before adjusting the door switch.

• Check door alignment: Verify that the door fully closes and presses the switch plunger. Adjust hinges if the door is sagging.
• Inspect switch actuator: Some models use a plastic pin or tab on the door to press the switch. Replace the door trim or actuator if broken.
