Possible Causes

Blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Failed lamp switch or relay on PCB, Loose wiring to lamp assembly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Switch off power at the mains before changing the lamp.

  • Replace the bulb: Remove the glass lens cover inside the oven (usually unscrews). Replace the bulb with a high-temperature Falcon oven lamp of the correct wattage and type (often E14 25W or similar).
  • Inspect lamp holder: If the new bulb does not work, inspect the Falcon oven lamp holder for heat damage or corrosion. Replace if contacts are burnt or loose.
  • Check wiring: From the rear, verify that the lamp wires are securely connected and not damaged.
  • Control issue: If the lamp and holder are good, the lamp relay or control on the PCB may have failed, requiring board repair or replacement.
