Oven does not heat at all, no error code displayed, fan and light may still work.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool before removing panels.

• 1. Check basic functions: Confirm that the oven light and display work. If the display is dead, suspect power supply rather than heating circuits.
• 2. Inspect thermal cutouts: Many Fisher & Paykel ovens have one or more thermal cutouts on the top or rear of the cavity. Access the rear and look for small round or rectangular thermostats with two terminals. Test for continuity; if open, replace with the correct part.
• 3. Test elements: Measure resistance of bake, grill, and convection elements. Replace any that are open circuit.
• 4. Control board outputs: If all elements and cutouts are good, the control board may not be energising the relays. Inspect for burnt components and consider board replacement.

Because multiple components can cause total heat loss, systematic testing with a multimeter is essential.
