Reduced Heating Performance
Oven heats but takes a very long time to reach set temperature, or never quite reaches it.

Possible Causes
Partially failed element (hot spots, reduced output), Convection element open but bake element working, Door seal leaking heat, Temperature sensor out of calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
- 1. Compare modes: Test conventional bake and fan bake separately. If one mode heats normally and the other is slow, suspect the element specific to that mode.
- 2. Inspect elements: Look for dull spots, sagging, or discolouration on elements. Replace any suspect elements.
- 3. Check door seal: Inspect the rubber gasket around the door for gaps, tears, or compression. Close the door on a sheet of paper at several points; if it pulls out easily, the seal or hinges may need adjustment or replacement.
- 4. Verify temperature: Use an oven thermometer to confirm actual temperature. If consistently low, test the temperature sensor and replace if out of spec.
Improving door sealing and replacing weak elements usually restores normal heat-up times.
