Door Switch Detection Fault
Oven interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but works when manually switched on (if that function exists).

Possible Causes
Faulty or misaligned door switch, Broken switch actuator on door, Wiring fault between switch and control, Control board not sensing switch state
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the switch.
- 1. Observe behaviour: If the light can be turned on manually, the lamp and relay are likely good. Focus on the door switch.
- 2. Inspect switch and actuator: Check that the door physically presses the switch plunger. Replace any broken plastic actuators.
- 3. Test switch: Remove and test the switch with a multimeter. Replace if faulty.
- 4. Wiring and control: If the switch is good, inspect wiring to the control board. If wiring is intact, the control input may be faulty.
This fault is usually minor but can affect other features that rely on door-open detection.
