Possible Causes
Loose fan blade or nut, Debris caught in fan, Warped fan cover, Worn fan motor bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before removing the fan cover.
- 1. Remove fan cover: Unscrew and remove the fan cover inside the cavity. Inspect for loose screws or distortion.
- 2. Check for debris: Remove any food particles, screws, or foil pieces around the fan blade.
- 3. Tighten fan nut: Gently hold the fan blade and tighten the central nut (if fitted) to secure the blade to the motor shaft.
- 4. Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If it feels rough or wobbly, the motor bearings may be worn and the motor should be replaced.
Do not operate the oven with a loose or scraping fan, as this can damage the motor and fan housing.
