Oven heats but does not reach set temperature or takes excessively long to preheat.

Safety First: Turn off power before removing panels or elements.

• Verify actual temperature:
  • Use an oven thermometer placed in the center of the oven.
  • Compare reading after 20–30 minutes to the set temperature.
• Inspect bake element:
  • Look for hot spots, blisters, or cracks.
  • Test resistance; replace the Bake Element if open or significantly out of spec.
• Check convection fan (if equipped):
  • In convection mode, listen for the fan; if not running, test and replace the Convection Fan Motor as needed.
• Test oven sensor:
  • Measure RTD resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω).
  • Replace the Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD) if out of range.
• Calibrate temperature (if available):
  • Many Frigidaire Professional ovens allow temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu.
  • Adjust by ±10–35°F to match actual temperature.
