How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power or unplug the oven before changing bulbs or accessing wiring.
- Replace bulb:
- Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off).
- Replace with the correct high-temperature Oven Light Bulb specified for Frigidaire Professional.
- Test door switch:
- Locate the door switch and test continuity while pressing and releasing.
- Replace the Oven Door Switch if it does not change state.
- Check socket and wiring:
- Inspect the Oven Light Socket for heat damage or loose connections.
- Repair wiring or replace the socket if burnt.
- Control relay:
- If bulb, switch, and socket are good, the EOC light relay may have failed; replace the Electronic Oven Control (EOC).
