How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Ensure good kitchen ventilation; avoid inhaling heavy smoke. Turn off oven if flames appear.
- Inspect interior:
- Allow oven to cool and inspect the bottom, racks, and elements for heavy grease or spills.
- Clean with a non-abrasive oven cleaner suitable for Frigidaire Professional ovens.
- Burn-off new oven:
- If oven is new, run a 400–450°F bake cycle for 30–60 minutes empty with good ventilation to burn off manufacturing residues.
- Check bake element:
- Wipe any residue off the Bake Element; avoid spraying cleaner directly on elements.
