How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: If you smell strong electrical burning, turn off the oven and breaker immediately. Risk of fire.
- Visual inspection:
- After cooling, inspect inside the oven for melted plastic, foil, or food on elements; remove carefully.
- Check rear connections:
- Remove rear panel and inspect the Terminal Block, element terminals, and wiring for burnt or discolored insulation.
- Replace any burnt Wiring Harness, Terminal Block, or Heating Element.
- Control board:
- Inspect the EOC for burnt components or odor; replace the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) if damaged.
