Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing the control panel.
- Power reset: Turn off the circuit breaker for 10–15 minutes to fully discharge the electronics, then restore power and test the controls.
- Dry out moisture: If E006 appeared after heavy steam cooking or cleaning, leave the oven door open and allow the control area to dry for several hours with power off.
- Inspect control panel: Remove the front control panel (usually held by screws from inside the door area). Check for signs of moisture, corrosion, or damage on the touch PCB.
- Check ribbon cables: Reseat the flat ribbon cable(s) between the user interface and the main control board. Ensure they are fully inserted and not kinked.
- Look for burnt components: Examine both the UI board and main board for burnt spots or swollen components.
Note: If reseating cables and drying the panel does not clear E006, the touch control module or main control board will likely need replacement, which is best done by a qualified technician.
