• Check water tank: Ensure the water tank is filled, correctly inserted, and that any float or magnet is moving freely.
• Clean contacts: Wipe the tank contacts and the mating contacts in the oven with a dry cloth to ensure good electrical connection.
• Descale system: Run a descaling program if available, using the recommended descaling agent for Gaggenau steam ovens.
• Inspect inlet and hoses: Remove the tank and visually inspect the water inlet area for blockages or scale build-up.
• Test steam function: After cleaning and refilling, start a steam program and observe whether steam is produced. If not, the steam generator or level sensor may be faulty.
