Possible Causes

Mis-calibrated capacitive touch sensors, Moisture or condensation on glass panel, Damaged touch sensor foil, Faulty UI electronics

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power before removing the control panel.

  • Clean glass: Wipe the control glass with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove moisture, grease, or cleaning residues.
  • Dry out: Leave the oven door open and allow the control area to dry for several hours if condensation is suspected.
  • Power cycle: Turn off the breaker for 10 minutes to force a recalibration of the touch sensors on restart.
  • Check mounting: Ensure the glass panel is not under mechanical stress (e.g. twisted or overtightened screws) which can affect sensor operation.

Note: If E030 persists, the touch sensor foil or UI board may be defective and require replacement.
