Advertisements
Possible Causes
Burnt-out halogen or LED oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken lamp wiring, Failed lamp relay or triac on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off power and allow the oven to cool before changing the lamp.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the cavity (usually by twisting) and replace the bulb with the exact type and wattage specified by Gaggenau.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for heat damage or corrosion on the lamp contacts. Replace the holder if contacts are burnt or loose.
- Test lamp function: After replacing the bulb, restore power and test. If it still does not light, the issue may be in the wiring or control board.
Note: If multiple bulbs fail prematurely, check for overheating or incorrect bulb type.
