Possible Causes
Tripped thermal safety cut-out, Both bake and grill elements failed, Faulty power relay on control board, Broken neutral or live feed to heating circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate the oven from mains power before any internal checks.
- Check basic functions: Confirm that the oven light and fan operate. If they do, mains power is present but the heating circuit is affected.
- Try multiple modes: Test conventional bake, grill, and fan-assisted modes. If none heat, suspect a common supply issue (safety cut-out, relay, wiring).
- Inspect thermal cut-out: Access the top/rear of the oven and locate the thermal safety device. Reset if it has a manual reset button; otherwise test continuity and replace if open.
- Test elements: Measure resistance of each heating element. Replace any that are open-circuit.
- Check control board relays: Listen for relay clicks when starting a program. No click may indicate a failed relay or control board.
Note: If all elements and safety devices test good, the fault is likely on the control board and should be handled by a professional.
