Check water tank: Fill the tank with fresh water, ensure it is properly seated, and that any float or magnet moves freely.
Clean contacts and inlet: Wipe the tank contacts and inlet area. Remove visible scale or debris.
Run descaling: If available, run a descaling program using the recommended descaler.
Listen for generator: Start a steam program and listen for the steam generator heating (slight boiling sound). No sound may indicate a failed element or control.

Note: If basic maintenance does not restore steam, the steam generator or sensors likely need professional replacement.
