Display shows LOC or Control Locked; oven buttons do not respond, but no beeping error.

Safety: No internal repair is needed in most cases.

• Unlock control: On most GE Profile ovens, press and hold the Lock Controls or Control Lock pad for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. On some models, press and hold Clear/Off for 3–5 seconds.
• Check manual: If LOC remains, consult the user manual for the specific key combination for your model.
• Power reset: Turn the breaker off for 1 minute, then back on. If LOC returns immediately and cannot be cleared, the UI board may be faulty.

Note: If the lock icon or LOC will not clear despite correct key presses, the touchpad or UI may need replacement.
