Possible Causes
Defective START key on touchpad, Child lock/Sabbath mode active, Faulty door switch, Control board input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the control panel or accessing switches.
- Check modes: Ensure control lock and Sabbath mode are off. Refer to the user manual to disable them.
- Test door switch: If the oven thinks the door is open, it may not start. Test the door switch for proper operation and replace if faulty.
- Keypad test: If other keys work but START does not, the touchpad is likely bad. Replace the control panel/touchpad assembly.
- Control board: If the keypad is good, the EOC may not be recognizing the START signal and should be replaced.
