Possible Causes

No incoming power, Blown internal fuse on control board, Failed electronic control board, Loose wire at terminal block

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the breaker before removing any panels. 240V is dangerous.

  • Verify outlet power: Check that the range/oven is receiving power and that the breaker is not tripped.
  • Inspect terminal block: For ranges, remove the rear cover and inspect the terminal block for burned connections. Replace if damaged.
  • Check internal fuse: Some GE ovens have a line fuse on the control board or wiring harness. Test for continuity and replace with the exact type and rating if blown, after finding and correcting the cause.
  • Replace control board: If power is present at the board but the display is dead, replace the EOC.
