Display shows LOC or Control Locked and oven will not start

Safety first: No internal repair is needed for normal control lock; do not disassemble while under warranty.

• Unlock controls: Press and hold the designated control lock key (often LOCK CONTROLS or hold START for 3–5 seconds) until LOC disappears. Refer to the user manual for your specific GE model.
• Power reset: If LOC will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 2 minutes, then restore and try again.
• Check keypad: If certain keys do not respond, the touchpad may be failing and the control panel assembly may need replacement.
