Possible Causes
Weak broil igniter, Failed broil gas valve section, Faulty broil relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas and power before servicing.
- Observe igniter: Start a broil cycle and check if the broil igniter glows. If it glows weakly and burner does not light, replace the broil igniter.
- Check wiring: Inspect igniter wiring for damage or loose connections.
- Gas valve and control: If a new igniter glows properly but no flame, the gas valve or control board may be faulty and should be tested and replaced as needed.
