Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power by switching off the circuit breaker or removing the plug. Verify power is off before removing any panels.
Steps to check:
- Remove the oven from the cabinet enough to access the top and rear (built-in Gram models usually have screws at the side or top front trim).
- Remove the top cover to access the user interface (UI) board and the main control board (PCB).
- Inspect the flat ribbon cable or multi-pin harness between the UI and the main PCB. Reseat both ends: unplug, check for bent pins or corrosion, then plug back in firmly.
- Check for any signs of moisture ingress or heat damage around the control area. Dry any condensation and clean light oxidation with contact cleaner.
- Restore power and test. If E0 persists, the fault is usually in the touch control panel or the main PCB. Replace the UI panel first if the buttons are unresponsive or intermittent; otherwise suspect the main PCB.
Warning: Do not work on live circuits. If you are not comfortable removing the oven or accessing internal wiring, contact a qualified technician.
