• Inspect the ribbon cable for kinks, cracks, or corrosion at the connectors. Reseat both ends.
• Check the glass fascia for cracks or signs of impact that may have damaged the touch sensors.
• If certain buttons never respond while others work, the membrane or touch board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
• After replacement, reassemble and test all functions.
