Possible Causes
Open-circuit grill element, Burned grill wiring, Faulty grill relay on PCB, Overheated terminal block at grill connections
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
Steps to check:
- Access the grill element from inside the cavity (usually at the top front). Remove fixing screws and gently lower the element to expose terminals.
- Inspect terminals and wiring for heat damage. Replace any discolored or brittle connectors.
- Measure resistance of the grill element. An infinite reading indicates failure.
- Check the rear terminal block where the grill wiring connects to the harness; replace if melted or loose.
- If the element is good and wiring intact, suspect a grill relay or main PCB fault.
Warning: Elements can retain heat; ensure they are cool before handling.
