Possible Causes
Tripped or failed safety thermostat, Open heating element circuit, Faulty main control board power relay, Loose mains terminal block connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains before inspection.
Steps to check:
- Confirm that the clock is set; many Gram ovens will not heat until the time is set.
- Check the mains terminal block at the rear for loose or burned connections; tighten or replace as needed.
- Locate the safety thermostat(s) on top or rear of the cavity. Test for continuity; replace any open, non-resettable thermostats.
- Test each heating element (top, bottom, grill, fan) for continuity with a multimeter. Replace any open elements.
- If all elements and thermostats are good, the main control board may not be energizing the relays and will likely need replacement.
Warning: Do not bypass thermostats or operate the oven with exposed wiring.
