Oven cooks unevenly, hotter at back or one side, food burnt on top and raw underneath

Safety first: Turn off power before removing internal panels.

• Check fan operation: In fan-assisted mode, verify that the fan runs smoothly and at full speed. Replace the motor if noisy or slow.
• Inspect elements: Look for sections of the grill or bottom element that do not glow when heating. Replace elements with uneven heating.
• Clear vents: Ensure rear and side air vents inside the cavity are not blocked by foil or heavy grease.
• Use correct shelf positions: Follow the Grundig manual for recommended shelf levels for different cooking types to improve evenness.

Note: Overloading a single shelf can also cause uneven results; distribute food appropriately.
