• Measure resistance: With the sensor unplugged, measure resistance across its terminals. An open reading (OL) indicates a failed sensor.
• Check harness to board: If the sensor tests good, trace the harness to the control board and check continuity from the sensor connector to the board connector. Repair or replace any open wires.

When to replace parts: If the sensor is open or significantly out of spec, replace the oven temperature sensor. If wiring is intact and sensor is good, the fault may be on the control board sensor input, requiring board replacement.
