• Inspect keypad: Remove the control panel cover and inspect the keypad membrane for cracks, warping, or liquid residue.
• Check ribbon cable: Disconnect and inspect the flat cable for corrosion or damage at the connector. Clean contacts gently if needed.
• Test operation: After reseating the cable and reassembling, restore power and test. If F7 returns immediately, the keypad or control board is likely defective.

When to replace parts: Replace the touch keypad assembly if it is separate from the board. If integrated, replace the control panel / electronic control assembly.
